Jenkins Estate Trillium Trek Tuesday, April 2, 10:00 Leader: Laura Dickinson 360-989-4210 A casual 3 mile walk to explore 1913 historic Jenkins Estate including home, gardens, and natural trails. The trillium are blooming and lighting up the woods! The flowering trees and perennials are blooming early this year and are quite spectacular. We will pass through the rhododendron garden, elm grove, rose pergola, pioneer herb garden, WA County Master Gardener learning garden, water garden, and wooded natural trails. Please join Bergies for a great day XC skiing at Teacup Nordic or Heather Canyon at Meadows on Wednesday, April 3rd. Trail fees are $25.00 at Teacup and free at Heather Canyon at Meadows. Teacup trail fees can be paid with cash at Teacup or may be paid online. Meet at 9:30 AM at the Sandy Pioneer Parking Lot. This is an untimed lot on Pioneer Blvd between Scales Ave and Bruns Ave located behind the white buildings (Otto‘s Ski Shop & Two Brothers Mexican Restaurant). Bring your sno park permit, plenty of water/snacks/lunch and your 10 essentials. Please check weather conditions at the mountain on the day of the trip. Carpooling may be available; the driver will set the contribution amount based on the vehicle type. Bring cash to pay the driver if you plan to carpool. We will be skiing the outer loop trails at Teacup or XC skiing at Heather Canyon at Meadows depending on snow conditions. **Please RSVP Mary Ann by text or call 503 467-1121.
