Date: Tue Sep 07, 2010 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Summer Outdoor Volleyball is here. Weather permitting we will play every Tuesday during the summer until the week after Labor Day that is Tuesday Sept. 7. Start time is 5 pm. Again, weather permitting. We meet at Willamette Park located at Macadam Blvd. and Nebraska St. in the John s Landing area of south Portland. Come on back beyond the tennis courts and you will find the group. There is always a group of league players and I will bring a net for recreational players. This is open to everyone, so bring a friend s and let s have a great time. There is no charge to play but they do charge for parking in the park, or you can park outside and walk in.

Watch for The Grotto sign on south side of Sandy Blvd, just east of 82nd. The dirt trail goes uphill through the woods and joins Rocky Butte Rd near the City Bible Church for the remainder of the route to the summit for an exquisite view of the surrounding area. The round trip is 3.5 miles, longer than when we departed from the church. Wear sturdy shoes. We ll eat probably along NE Fremont.
