Our members are just like you - people who want to meet others and become active in a variety of social and outdoor activities. Our members are educated, interesting, fun and friendly individuals who enjoy being active both physically and socially. Our events have great turnouts, and there are always new, fun people to meet. Member Discounts
Bergfreunde members enjoy discounts from a wide variety of local merchants on products and services that include outdoor gear, water sports, indoor and outdoor rock climbing, just to name a few. More companies and Bergfreunde benefits are added all the time.
An Active Calendar
Check out our Calendar of Events to see the current club activities planned for this month and trips in process for future months. On the weekends, there may be several events from which to choose. If you are looking to get active and out of the house, there is no shortage of activity here!
Event Leaders
Bergfreunde members volunteer their time as event leaders for a variety of activities. Our top priority is to make sure that there is always something fun going on in which the membership can participate!
Newsletters, Updates and Reminders
Our monthly newsletters keep members well informed about all club news and upcoming events. Members also receive email reminders and updates for the events for which they have registered. Feel free to subscribe to our newsletter by entering your email address on our Home page.
Classifieds
We allow our members to post for free such things as "Seeking a Roommate", "Selling Equipment", or "Adopting a Dog" on our website. Only members may post Classifieds, but all visitors to the site can view them.
Let's Get Real
We like to think of ourselves as a unique entity. We are not a singles club or a dating organization, yet we are not a "hard-core" outdoors group either. Our members join because they are interested in meeting new people and having fun by participating in interesting events and activities.
