The New Member House Party
Following each monthly Bergie Social all new members and guests are invited and encouraged to attend this informational gathering at a member’s home. This is the time to meet in a smaller and more intimate setting to talk about your interests and get answers to questions you might have.
Current members are always on hand to share their experiences that can be anything from skiing to dancing…hiking to theater…wine tours to cruises. Ask someone at this NMHP about an interest you might have and you will most likely get a response from someone who has that same interest or can refer you one-on-one to the club member with the same interest and experience with the subject.
You can sign up to attend a NMHP during the monthly Social or just show up on the scheduled evening (normally the second Wednesday following the Social). The host member will be sure to have snacks and beverages for all. The $2.00 fee collected at sign up or at show up is used to reimburse our host.
Attend a New Member House Party and you will never come to a monthly Social without recognizing at least one other person. You too will be recognized! What a great way to get to know others and become involved.
